Cozy farmhouse with wood stove

Stylish accommodation where you can recharge your batteries in the heart of the Pyrenean countryside. Just a 20-minute drive from Lannemezan and shops, half an hour from Saint-Lary-Soulan, and 40 minutes from Loudenvielle: you are close to ski resorts ❄️ and thermal spas 🫧, and 1 hour 15 minutes from 🇪🇸. Farm life🐮, hiking, mountain sports🏔️, streams and rivers🌊 are waiting for you.😉 Please note that the property is located in the Hautes-Pyrénées (65), not in the Gers! The space Small country house, completely and tastefully renovated. This small house is semi-detached from ours, on our farm. There are two bedrooms upstairs: one bedroom with a 160 cm double bed and another with a 140 cm double bed. The ground floor consists of a sunroom with a closet, a living room with an open kitchen, an exposed stone wall and a wood-burning stove, located near the sofa to keep you warm in winter. The kitchen is fully equipped with: stovetop, dishwasher, range hood, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, etc. The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a superb walk-in shower, a single sink with a large mirror, and the toilet is located in the bathroom. A small private garden area with small garden furniture and a barbecue are at your disposal for relaxing and also to allow smokers to smoke, as smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. Dogs, cats and other small pets are allowed on the ground floor of the property only. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment. They will also have a garden area with a small garden furniture set and a private terrace. There are several dogs and cats that roam freely around the farm. It is possible to park a vehicle in front of the accommodation. Self check-in is possible as there is a key box, but in general, we prefer to welcome our guests in person. Other things to note There is no connection for electric cars, so please do not plug in your vehicle. In our area, there are charging stations provided for this purpose in the surrounding villages. Important information: The rental is located on a farm. So there may be some noise from animals and agricultural activity. Thank you for understanding. (Children should be careful: the road is nearby and agricultural machinery passes by). For the wood-burning stove, the first fire is free, and then it's €8 per wheelbarrow load of about 10–12 logs.
