Description
This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit The space This cozy studio is attached to the wrap around porch of one of the first historic West University homes. Built by the 12th sheriff of Pima County in an Americana farmhouse style, the house has undergone many changes since its creation in the mid 1890’s—studios were created along the porch in the mid 1950’s. The main house is occupied by the owners and their family so there are children and family pets periodically roaming the property. Though the studio is attached to the house and shares the main porch, it is a stand-alone space with a full bath, closet and kitchenette. It has a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The seating area can be used as a portable office space and the kitchen table area works as both eatery and nightstand. The space is smaller but welcoming, with beautiful evening light and an authentic city feel. The downtown train as well as West University traffic can be heard from inside the room as the west windows face the road. But, the room itself is warm and bright with wifi and close access to anything you could possibly need. It offers a good work atmosphere as well as a convenient respite for college visits or work related trips. Guest access You’ll enter through the gate to the yard. Climb stairs to the patio and turn to the left and enter through the patio door all the way to the left of the home, which is also the front door to enter directly into your studio. Other things to note This Newly renovated studio is a part of our Larger 130year old home! If you blow a fuse let us know! We are here to help! The pipes are old but there is plenty of hot water!! Just give it time to heat up. Please do not put things down the drains or any sanitary products down the toilet thank you!
