The Miller's Cottage

Originally a 17th century miller's cottage, it has been recently renovated throughout for bed & breakfast. In the middle of the Gower Peninsula, it is a short drive to all of Gower's award-winning beaches. The location is a quiet retreat surrounded by fields, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. This listing is for two private rooms only, with separate private bathroom in my home. Breakfast included. Please read the important additional information at the bottom of this page. ⬇️ The space The Sleigh room is located upstairs and features a comfortable wooden double bed, a dresser, wardrobe. The room has plenty of natural light from the Velux window. The Cosy double is located upstairs and features a comfortable wooden small-double (4ft) bed, side-table, and wardrobe. The room has plenty of natural light from the Velux window and window overlooking the fields at the back of the cottage. The centre bathroom upstairs has an enclosed shower, and a bath with attached shower tap. It is for the exclusive use of guests. Breakfast will be served in the dining room on the main table. Please read the extra information regarding dietary requirements at the bottom. ⬇️ The main room is an open-plan sitting room with wood-burning fireplace (with surround safety guard as seen in the photos). Guests are welcome to sit in the garden, and there is a patio with seating area towards the back. A wet-room with heated floor adjoins the entrance so any pets, bathing costumes, wet suits, or other clothing can be washed before bringing inside. Guest access All rooms have access to the sitting room, dining room, downstairs wet-room, and centre bathroom. Access to bedrooms is via internal stairs only, so therefore not recommended for guests with mobility issues. Guests are expected not to enter or access the rooms past the centre bathroom in the upstairs corridor. It is for our private use and not for guests - please be mindful as this is my home. During your stay Peter, my father, will be in and around the property and be accommodating you during your stay. He will be your host and point of contact. Other things to note 🫖 🥐 Breakfast provided Continental style: fresh bakery items, fresh fruit, miscellaneous cereals. Tea & coffee, or juice provided. Specific dietary requirements (such as gluten free or vegan) catered for upon request. ➡️ The guest space is two rooms within my home, with their own private bathroom. Guests are expected to be considerate as this is my personal home with shared spaces downstairs. *️⃣ We may be able to accommodate more than 4 guests on an case-by-case basis when given plenty of prior warning 🚗 Driveway space for one large SUV-style car, or two smaller cars. Must be happy with and not allergic to cats, as one ragdoll cat named Ollie may be around the house. We currently work using a 7-day advance booking setup to ensure we can cater for any dietary requirements, but we welcome requests for bookings within 7 days.
