In our cabin in the palm grove by the sea you will feel the cozy aesthetics of bamboo, wood and toquilla. The carefully designed architecture is in direct contact with nature. Enjoy the transparent sea and the clear sand of the wide beach lined with palm trees. The Island is a natural sanctuary where turtles nest and whales arrive. Disconnect from the routine in the tranquility of the island, paddle through the mangroves, fish or make boat trips to the nearby islands or go whale watching. The space Immersed in its natural environment, the house adapts traditional construction techniques to a sophisticated architectural concept. Designed by Rama Estudio, it is part of a sustainable architecture project that uses local materials with low environmental impact and draws on the know-how and labor of the community's artisans and builders. Bamboo, wood and toquilla straw weaving permeate all the rooms with their natural and cozy aesthetics. With close attention to detail, the design achieves maximum comfort for its guests. The open conception of the space gives freshness and clarity to the transparent and permeable spaces. Guest access The house has an open and fluid spatial concept. All areas of the house are available to the guests. The sea is the boundary of the property, but there is an area of island vegetation in front of the fenced garden that surrounds our house. Other things to note In the house you will find enough towels and sheets for your stay, but we do not have beach towels. We also recommend that you bring enough sunscreen and beach shoes for the hot sand and possible thorns in the natural vegetation. We have a kayak at your disposal, as well as life jackets if you want to use them. Please tie up your paddle to avoid losing it: it is an expensive spare part and not easy to find. The area has lots of vegetation and mangroves, so there are mosquitoes, especially in the rainy season, from December to May. They usually appear at dusk and dawn. In the house you will find anti-mosquito candles and incense-type spirals to repel mosquitoes. We recommend bringing insect repellent. We have a small portable grill. If you want to use it, please let me know in advance to buy charcoal.
