Hencha Cave
Hencha Cave
Description
Cueva Hencha has been used for human habitation dating back 2000 years. On the hill above the cave there are the remains of a Roman temple, and was also the site of an iron age village. It is about a 5 minute walk to the historic town of Galera where you will find bars and restaurants. Galera is about one and a half hours from the coast. But we do have some large lakes within an hours drive. We also have two natural thermal pools that you can swim in all year, within a ten minute drive. Registration details Andalucia – Regional registration number VTAR/GR/01226
