Quiet one-bedroom suite, nestled in the trees

Private, second-floor suite in a quiet, wooded neighborhood at the heart of Mount Desert Island. Spacious bedroom with comfortable king-sized bed, reading nook, ensuite bath, and views of gardens and pine forest. A short drive (15-20 minutes) to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor, but surrounded by nature and away from the crowds. Please note: this space does not have a kitchen or living room, but a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and dishes are provided. The space Climb your private entry staircase to a carpeted, light-filled master bedroom with skylight and south-facing windows. A quiet retreat for nature-lovers! Guest access Entry to the guest suite is through a mudroom/entrance hall that is also used by the host for entry to our home - off the entrance hall is a separate, locked entry to the second-floor suite. In addition to the suite, guests have access to our peaceful backyard and patio, which are shared with the host. Other things to note The main house, which is connected to the guest suite by an entrance hall, is our year-round home and we will likely be here during your stay. Sound doesn't typically travel between the two spaces, but with a happy, energetic ten-year-old around, you may occasionally hear some backyard activity or exuberant voices!
