Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in central Romsey with far reaching countryside views and secure gated private parking. Perfect for classic car enthusiasts and car events at Beaulieu & Goodwood. Romsey town, the Abbey and all the delights that Romsey has to offer is a 5 minute walk. A 10 minute drive to Peppa Pig World & Paultons Park and 20 minutes to the New Forest and 35 minutes to the coast. Close to Train and Bus stations for visits to attractions further afield. The space The property is accessed through private gates where there is plenty of parking. The Old Garage is set away from the main house, so you have your own space and privacy, but we are close by if you need anything. The entrance to the apartment is undercover, off the outside terrace. The outside terrace is open to a gravelled area of garden, with a large, shared, lawn beyond. There is a bistro table and chairs outside along with a BBQ and a table tennis table. *The outside area is open to the River Test by the main house. Caution is needed with small children that need to be supervised at all times while outside. Downstairs is two comfy double bedrooms. A good-quality folding single bed can be supplied by adding a 5th person to the booking. This level also has a shower room with sink and toilet. Upstairs is a large and airy open space with panoramic windows with far reaching, gorgeous views of the Test Valley, containing the lounge and dining area. There’s a breakfast bar, looking out over the garden and the water meadows. The Lounge area has a two-seater leather sofa and a leather armchair and a three-seater sofa. The galley kitchen has all amenities needed for a relaxing holiday, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine (you will need to bring your own capsules), microwave, 2 x 1 burner countertop induction hobs, and a large dining table. You will find tea, coffee and milk waiting for you. There is also another shower room with sink and toilet on this upper level. We list a maximum of 5 people (4 Adults + 1 Child) but the listing price is for 2 people sharing 1 bedroom with an additional charge of £20 per person per night for use of the second bedroom & the foldout single bed. Infants under 2 years old are free if using your own travel cot. If the fold out bed is required at all, then add the 5th person to the booking. We accept dogs that are well behaved and ask that they do not go on the furniture. They will have the run of the garden. ***NO dogs to be left unattended in the apartment – Paulton’s Park do not allow dogs – Doggy day care provided at copiedhallkennels see their link on the Paultons Park website Strictly NO SMOKING or VAPING on site.
