Mediaeval Cellar in the Forest of Dean

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Built in the 1400's as an apple store, the house was added in 1810. Sleeping below ground is extremely peaceful. There is a kitchen, lounge with Sky TV, lovely bedroom and shower room. There is a private seating area with a fire pit and views across the fields. The space The Cellar is beneath our 1810 cottage, but is much older. It is a self contained unit, and has all the necessary facilities (except a mobile phone signal!). There is a good signal in the garden and very fast WiFi. Guest access There is a second part of our garden which is for the sole use of visitors. Other things to note This property is two miles from the nearest town. We recommend having a vehicle as the bus services are non-existent and taxis are expensive.
