Blackthorn Hideaway Shepherd's Hut & Outdoor Bath

Blackthorn Hideaway is our luxury, bespoke Shepherd's Hut. It has open field views and is surrounded by beautiful countryside walks, pubs, restaurants, famous attractions, and is only 20 minutes from the Peak District National Park. The Hideaway is the perfect location for a romantic break with your small dog (additional charge). Outside is a private, decked area with chairs, table, luxury outdoor slipper bath and fire pit - a perfect place to relax, unwind, and cosy up under the stars. The space The Hideaway has been lovingly hand crafted by us to give you a beautiful, calm, and private environment in which to recharge your batteries. Inside there is everything you could need to make your stay super special. The location offers fantastic walking, mountain biking, and some great local pubs and restaurants within walking distance (which are dog friendly too). If you fancy something different, there's also so much to see and do nearby such as The Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Cannon Hall Farm (TV's 'This Week on the Farm'), The Holme Valley and Holmfirth Town (TV's 'Last of the Summer Wine'), The National Coal Mining Museum, The Royal Armouries, Wentworth Woodhouse (amazing history and a Netflix film location), The Hepworth gallery, and Shibden Hall (TV's 'Gentleman Jack' series). Blackthorn features: . Small, well behaved dogs are welcome (additional charge) . Comfortable, cosy, pull down double bed with linen and duck feather pillows . L shaped seating area with coffee table . Wood burning stove with basket of logs, kindling, firelighters & matches . Kitchen with 2-ring induction hob, Ninja mini oven, fridge/freezer, sink, kettle, pans, crockery, cutlery, tea, coffee and sugar . En-suite with heated towel rail, towels, robes & luxury toiletries . Wardrobe, mirror and hairdryer Secluded outside space: . Secluded luxury outdoor slipper bath . Private decked area with outdoor lighting . Chairs, table and fire pit overlooking the field Off street parking: Double gates lead to a dedicated guest parking space and grassed walkway to The Hideaway. Connectivity: No Wifi but Mobile Phone signal is good. Guest access . Dedicated, private parking is located behind our double gates. . The Hideaway is located at the bottom of our garden overlooking our field below. . Guests are welcome to walk their dog, on lead, in the field that stretches beyond the shepherd's hut. Other things to note . We love dogs and are more than happy to accept one small, well behave four-legged friend, but we kindly ask that they are kept on lead when outdoors as we are surrounded by livestock. . As a courtesy to other guests, please don't let your dog on the furniture. . Dogs are never to be left alone in the shepherd's hut. . Please pick up after your dog. . We're sorry but unfortunately the shepherd's hut is unsuitable for children. . Smoking is not permitted in the shepherd's hut.
