Luxury Retreat Minutes to Mall of GA & Lake Lanier

This amazing retreat is your next great experience just waiting for you to show up. Located just 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta and an hour from the Georgia mountains, just 15 minutes to the beautiful Lake Lanier and you are literally 5 minutes from the incredible Mall of Georgia, with super easy access from both I-85 and I-985, and every restaurant, spa, luxury or necessity you can imagine. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located sanctuary. The space This wonderful home provides you with two full floors of spacious comfort. The first floor is the main hangout area featuring a living room with a gas fireplace for the cooler months. There is a game room stocked with all of our favorites. Of course, there is the kitchen. This one is very well stocked and connects to the eat-in area for casual and the formal dining room for more upscale meals. There is also a convenient half bath. Don't forget the roomy 10' x 20' rear deck overlooking the lovely woods and creek. It features an outdoor dining set and conversation area along with a big ol' barbeque grill. All bedrooms are on the second floor. It features an enormous primary room with a king bed and bath which includes a large office area as well as a cozy sitting/reading space. The "Mint" queen bedroom is attached to the upstairs full bath. It has a wonderful view of the woods behind the house and features a walk-in closet. The other two bedrooms have access to the bathroom from the hallway. The other queen guest room "The Florida Room" is across the hall. It features a beautiful cherrywood bedroom suite and also hosts a walk-in closet. At the end of the hall, you'll find "Kid Central" or the bunk room. It features two awesome bunk bed towers, and a big screen for their viewing fun, or for connecting their game console. There is also a great play area for the little ones at the other end of the room, featuring their very own food truck. Ok, so it's really just a tent, but they'll LOVE it. They'll also find additional toys and playthings in the walk-in closet. There is a garage available for your convenience. That kind of sounds boring compared to the rest of the home. There is a basement apartment that can also be utilized if you have a larger gathering. We do not allow parties as we have neighbors who want to keep the neighborhood pristine and quiet. The basement apartment may or may not be hosting other guests when you come to stay. It has its parking area on the left side of the circular driveway and a private entrance on the left side of the home. Usually, when we stay at the house, we never see the basement guests coming or going. We added soundproofing in the basement ceiling and staircase to hopefully prevent sounds from going between the two units. Other things to note There is a Publix grocery store less than 5 minutes from the house. You will also find oodles of restaurants in any direction you would choose to explore. If you forget any items there is a Target and a Walmart very close by. This property is located at the rear of a very quiet subdivision on a cul-de-sac that backs to trees and a creek. The home is close to shopping, 5 minutes from the Mall of Georgia, restaurants, and 15 minutes from Lake Lanier. It is located conveniently between I-85 and I-985. This home hosts two separate and private units that may or may not be utilized by other guests during your stay. We have added soundproofing between the apartment and the main house floor to help reduce and hopefully eliminate sounds from the other unit. You will love this home away from home. The way the home is built, when we stay there, we rarely see the other guests coming or going.
