The Palm - Studio Apartment

Enjoy stylish experience at our centrally-located studio apartment. The apartment is freshly renovated and has everything you need to feel like home. We are located within walking distance to Harmony Beach Park, Hip Strip (Gloucester Ave./Jimmy Cliff Blvd.,), Doctor’s Cave Beach Club, KFC, local crafts market and much more! Airport pick up & drop off can be arranged at additional cost. Tours and excursions, provided by our reliable partners, are available and can be booked upon request. The space “The Palm” Studio apartment is located within a condominium complex, which was built as a hotel in 1960s. At present, each apartment is privately owned, and occupied by its owner, rented long term, or as an Airbnb. It is a budget accommodation for independent travelers, who love to explore the Island on their own. Please note, the complex is dated, but it possesses its authentic Jamaican charm. It is undergoing regular renovations and painting work, but some things are outside of the Host’s control. Nevertheless, we are tirelessly working on updating the property as a whole, one step at a time. Additionally, although we are close to Hip Strip, the complex is located on a steep hill, walking which might be a challenge due to heat and vehicular traffic. Bring your most comfortable shoes, hat and and use caution on the road. Our apartment is newly renovated throughout, has all new piping, electric, fixtures, appliances, furniture, linens and decor. It is located in the heart of the complex. Our balcony is facing the parking lot, where our guests can find themselves a complimentary parking spot. There might be potential noise coming from the parking lot, due to apartment’s proximity to it. Further out, you will be able to enjoy the view of Montego Bay city center, the bay, and the most spectacular view of the mountains! The studio is conveniently located on the third floor. Be ready to walk some steps! There is no elevator. The apartment has all things you need to feel comfortable. You can enjoy a fresh Caribbean sea breeze, cook and eat your meal, read a book, or sunbathe on the balcony. TV is equipped with fire stick, as well as Netflix. We provide: * a comfortable sofa * cozy queen bed * small dining/working area in the living room, * air conditioner * water heater * blackout curtains * fully equipped kitchenette * modern bathroom, featuring glass sliding door, large vanity, extra large rain shower head and waterfall sink faucet, * closet with full size mirror, * safe * as washer and dryer in the unit. Guest access You will have an exclusive access to the entire apartment/residential unit. The studio is ideally suited for one or two guests, however the couch converts into a queen bed for an additional person or two. Other things to note Smoking is permitted, but limited strictly to the balcony, with sliding doors into the living room and into the kitchen totally closed. Please do not smoke in the living room, bathroom or kitchen. Washer and dryer in the unit are only for registered guests’ convenience.
