Watoga State Park, Cranberry Glades, Greenbrier Trail, and Pearl S. Buck birthplace are nearby. *** The local fire department is very close, and they sound a siren to call their firefighters. Fires are allowed in the fire pit after 5pm (local ordinance). The local volunteer fire department sounds an alarm to call for their volunteers. It is rare but it is LOUD.
