Inside, the lodge feels cosy yet surprisingly spacious, with a comfortable lounge area where you can settle in after a day by the lake. The sleeping area features a beautiful handmade double bed with a super-comfy memory foam mattress, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for your stay, including a two-ring induction hob and microwave/grill oven, whether you’re preparing a leisurely breakfast or a relaxed evening meal. There is also a beautifully finished en-suite bathroom with a luxurious rainfall-style shower. Step outside onto your private decking area and take in the wonderful views across the lake, just a few metres away. Relax in your own private hot tub, enjoy alfresco dining using the fire-pit-style BBQ, or spend the evening toasting marshmallows as the sun goes down. Peaceful, private and wonderfully romantic, this is a place to slow down, switch off and enjoy lakeside living at its best. Other things to note During the summer months guests should be aware that there can be an increase in insects and bugs due to the proximity of the lake. This does not normally effect your stay but it is worth noting as the lodge is in the stunning country side. Please be aware that this lodge has a kitchenette which comprises of a two ring induction hob and microwave with grill plus a refrigerator. Unfortunately we can not allow dogs at the Lakeside Lodge. The lodge intentionally has no WIFI and no TV in the hope that you can switch off, from the daily grind and be at one with nature. Lets disconnect to reconnect! Please note: Hot tub maintenance is carried out between each guest and includes fully emptying and refilling the tub, balancing the chemicals, and allowing sufficient time for the water to reach the correct temperature. Housekeeping uses a hot tub heater to warm the water prior to arrival, meaning the hot tub is usually ready for use when you arrive. However, as with all equipment, unforeseen faults can occasionally affect the heating process. While we always aim to have the hot tub ready on arrival, we cannot guarantee this in every instance.
