Herdvyck (#1) Cabin, Lake District, Dog Friendly

The Herdvyk (#1) is one of our two beautiful bespoke log cabins, nestled on a small family farm on the edge of the Lake District National Park, offers a bespoke escape for two. This hand crafted, off-grid retreat features a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. Outside, you can unwind by the stone circle, relax in the outdoor bath, or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the fire pit. The space The comfortable double bed sits high giving you lovely views across the fields and fells beyond, the kitchen area comes with all the utensils you need and additional heating is supplied with a separate heating system to keep you warm at night. The cabin can be found on the North Eastern edge (2.5 Miles / 5 Minutes Drive) of the Lake District National Park with great access to fantastic walking, Keswick, Ullswater and beyond. The cabin has a selection of books and hand made games to keep you entertained. This is very much a secluded log cabin designed with low power consumption in mind, there is no WIFI but most Mobile phone networks receive 4G/5G reception so you will be able to hotspot from your phone if you require internet access, Vodafone and o2 works best. Outside you will find an outdoor bath, stone circle around a fire pit and on the cabin decking you can use the chairs and table to enjoy the beautiful views looking South to the Northern fells. We love dogs! We would also love it if you wanted to bring your (... well behaved pls) dog with you, the only thing is we ask you to do is keep them under control if other guests are around. The Herdvyk (#1) is one of our two bespoke log cabins situated on the property. The cabin is situated just outside the small village of Greystoke that is just 10 minutes from Penrith that is served by the West Coast train line, to the South you are only 15 minutes from Ullswater and then Keswick is only 20 minutes away to the West.
