IMPORTANT: The Loft Studio is accessed by outside staircase and balcony so is not wheelchair accessible. - The Garden Studio is Accessed by an uneven path to the back garden, so, is not wheelchair accessible IMPORTANT: if you smoke outside be VERY careful (our natural surrounds are a fire hazard - Cape Town suffers every year with runaway fires - Noordhoek was ravaged by fires in 2016. IMPORTANT our property is not suitable for unsupervised small children. - The Loft Studio is accessed by an outside staircase and balcony (3.5m high). It's not safe for small children (crawling babies, climbing toddlers and youngsters who want to climb on the balcony to explore. etc). There is a gate with a latch across the top of the staircase. - The Garden Studio is in the back garden which has a deep fish pond - drowning hazard - & a garden shed with tools, paint, chemicals, etc – the back garden area can be closed off by gates with latches. IMPORTANT: Please note our bathrooms have lovely SHOWERS but NOT a BATH TUB as you'll see in the photos - for whatever reason AirBnB only allows us to list a bath tub with a shower head IMPORTANT: No loud noise, this is a retreat space – no loud music or screaming (our local pub, The Red Herring is just 1 min up the road for watching sports games and is very festive) IMPORTANT: It can be windy - we suggest you plan your activities accordingly as some activities might close if it's very strong - especially, the Table Mountain aerial cable way. The WindFinder website / App has good 3-hourly updates on the prevailing weather & winds for many places in Cape Town. - Cape Town has been known as the Cape of Storms since the 1600s for good reason. In winter, the powerful North-Wester brings our rains and was responsible for wrecking many an early sailing ship. In summer, the famous South-Easter churns up False Bay. This wind is fondly known as the Cape Doctor because it keeps us cool. The early settlers in Cape Town appreciated its strength to blow pollution and illness away!
