The Birdsnest

The Birdsnest is a cosy cottage sitting high on the hill to capture the bush setting . You are able to sit and relax on the lounge or listen to the Bird song on the large deck to take in this peaceful and quiet setting where the only sights are the trees or skyline. Located above Popes Glen; a beautiful walking track 2 minutes walk from the house. It is also located 5 minutes walk to the duck pond and red rocket park and a 15 minute walk up through the beautiful memorial park to the village. The space The Birdsnest is located on a steep incline with steps leading up to the back verandah which is the entrance. Once inside it is all on one level. Our house is cosy and welcoming. There are 2 lovely verandahs. The front one to capture the views and the back to soak up the warm winter sun. Three comfortable bedrooms with all linen provided, a dining room, 2 toilets and a bath that has a skylight to see the ever changing mountains weather. The kitchen although small has everything that’s required to cook up a storm. The house is warm in winter with wood burning fire as well as gas heating and split air conditioner for warmer months. Electric blankets are also provided. The house does not have any backyard for playing, however the decks provide extra space. Guest access The entire house and property is open for use. Other things to note The Birdsnest is located on a steep hill. It is not suitable for elderly people or anyone who has difficulty with stairs. Registration Details PID-STRA-49678
