In this quiet and tranquil spot you’ll find walks, caves and waterfalls on the doorstep, along with the convenience of pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. The property has had ample love and attention with no expense spared. The living area is open plan which presents a well-equipped, well presented kitchen, a delightful living room with a comfy sofa and smart TV, and a dining table and chairs. On the same floor the apartment offers a good-sized bedroom with a plush double bed (an additional single bed can be added by request) and a lovely bathroom with a bath with shower over. To the rear of the property, there is a fully enclosed patio and garden area which offers a seating area and fantastic views of the spectacular Settle-Carlisle railway line just a few yards away - this is a great place to sit out and relax in the summer months whilst enjoying a glass of fizz and hopefully spot a steam train 🚂 The property also overlooks farmland. Situated within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and close to the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this a perfect retreat for walkers, cyclists, and ramblers, with plenty of walks, cycle paths, bridleways and established footpaths into picturesque countryside. The picturesque market town of Settle with restaurants, pubs, pavement cafés and independent shops can all be easily reached, just a short 5 minute stroll away. The charming market town of Skipton is also only 30 minutes drive away and is home to an ancient castle, cobbled high street and colourful street market. If you did just want to park up and leave the car you have instant access to walks on the doorstep with several country pubs within walking distance which offer local real ales and fantastic pub grub. Ribble Retreat is located a 10 minute stroll for Settle train station, a 10 minute walk from Settle Victoria Hall and less than a 15 minute walk from Falcon Manor. Guest access Guests can access the whole property. Other things to note The property has one double bed as standard, however an extra single bed can be added to the same bedroom. Please confirm if this is required in advance as this will not be there as standard.
