The home is located in idyllic Storvik, directly by the 1.5 km long Storvik beach and only 50 m from the sea. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can enjoy an active holiday with mountain trips, paddling, swimming or cycling. If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad, you have panoramic views of the natural elements from the inside. The space Storvik in Gildeskål. When you travel along the coastal road (county road 17) and either come from the north through the 3118 meter long tunnel through Storvikskaret or you come from the south, where you pass Uredd, called by the world press "the world's most beautiful outhouse", then you recognize Storvik. You will be captivated by the charming location, the long and white sandy beach and the high mountains that are reflected in the sea, with Høgnakken 1045 meters in the background. When you turn off the coastal road and drive into the charming village, you will find our beach house in the middle of these magnificent surroundings. If you like to go hiking, there are many marked trails nearby. The most unique trip is the top trip to Finnesjura and Finnesfjellet. When you sit on our large terrace and look over the bay, the sea and the mountains, you can see the characteristic peaks, a fascinating mountain formation that is locally referred to as Juran. House. In 2021 the house was completed. There are amazing views in all directions, whether you are outside or sitting inside the living room. Large plot and terrace that provides all possibilities for recreation. The house has 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is also a loft available if you need more sleeping places. If you are on the loft you have a fantastic view to the west. Air to water heat pump supplies all rooms with underfloor heating, and the ventilation system ensures a good indoor climate. Central vacuum cleaner and robot vacuum cleaner facilitate cleaning. Large windows in front of the living room provide a visually good experience, and we enjoy sitting on the sofa to see the fascinating change of weather and wind we can have here in the north. The living room. Internet, Smart TV and DAB radio/music system. Dining table for 6-8 people. Comfortable and modern furnishings. Bedrooms. There are 6 beds divided into 2 in the master bedroom, 2 in the guest room, 2 in the bedroom/office. In addition, there are 2 extra beds/flat beds on the loft. Parking space for 3 cars outside, with direct access on the ground floor to the house. Kitchen The kitchen is well equipped with coffee maker, kettle, large fridge, freezer in technical room, oven and large induction hob with integrated extractor fan. The kitchen has cutlery and crockery for 10-12 people. Bathroom The bathroom has a shower, washing machine and dryer. Toilet and sink. Terrace. On the terrace there is a dining table/chairs with space for 8-10 people, 2 sun beds and 4 sun chairs. Several small tables that are easy to move around depending on the sun and wind conditions. Weber gas grill is available and on the screened patio you can enjoy good meals. Outdoor activities. There are 2 paddle boards and 2 bicycles available. Fire pan and gas grill. Badminton and Kubb are also available as the large lawn invites to various forms of play. Nearby, there is access to sand volleyball and a playground for children. There is also a mini golf course and frisbee golf in connection with the campsite in the village. At the mini golf course there is a container for renting various leisure equipment. The rental is free and more info is available in the grocery store. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house with terrace and outdoor area. There is also direct access to the beach in front of the house so that you can quickly jump into the sea for a morning swim. Other things to note Access to the loft is via a staircase that folds down via a hatch in the ceiling in the entrance. See pictures. To open it, use the white rod hanging on the wall in the hallway. Place the end in the small hole in the ceiling hatch and turn to the left. Hold the rod there while gently pulling the hatch down. When the hatch is open you can fold a staircase down to the floor and then you can go to the attic. It is closed again by doing the opposite. Fold the stairs, place the end of the rod in the opening in the roof hatch. Push the stairs up towards the ceiling with a slightly strong push until you see that it is in place. Then turn the rod to the right and the stairs are locked.
