Description
Attractive traditional mountain house of the Haute Soule, more than 150m2, renovated in 2020/2021, perched at an altitude of 700m and enjoy breathtaking views of the Sainte-Engrasbourg valley. Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe and many hiking trails (GR10) or mountain biking leave close to the house. The region is also conducive to canyoning and in winter, the resort of La Pierre Saint Martin is a 30-minute drive away. The space Non-smoking house and unfortunately unsuitable for people with disabilities. We have internet via a box that works well. Pets not allowed. The house is built on 3 levels: - On the ground floor, a large living room with open kitchen, dining room, 55 m2 living room - On the 1st floor, 2 bedrooms with a double bed each with their own bathroom and toilet - On the 2nd floor, a TV corner on the landing with a single bed and a double sofa bed. Bathroom with toilet. A bedroom with a double bed. All bedrooms have very nice views of the valley and surrounding mountains. There is also a 4th bathroom/toilet/laundry room between the ground floor and the 1st floor, on the stairs landing. Guest access The village of Sainte-Engrasbourg is not served by public transport, so you will need a car. The road that leads to the house is a small communal mountain road where you have to drive carefully but which does not present any particular difficulties. Other things to note The house has a hot tub that heats with wood. The ideal is to make a fire once a day. You will have wood available to you. There is also a wood burning stove and fireplace inside the house, where you can make a fire there too. During the renovation work, the house has been fully insulated, it heats up very well. The house has adjoining barns where you can park your mountain bikes and dry your canyoning suits.
