Home in Xilitla

The house has three bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, two of the bedrooms each have a sofa bed and in the living room there is another double sofa bed, in total 3 sofa beds and a cot. Therefore, it is suitable for up to 8 people. It has a small terrace with a barbecue, an equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a living room. You would have the entire house and terrace for you. I live in the back and have my own separate entrance. The space It has air conditioning in each bedroom. I ask you to please take care that the controls are not hit because I have already changed them several times and they are difficult to find and very expensive. Fans are available for the living room and dining room in hot weather. In cold weather (December and January) there are blankets and comforters. Portable appliances cannot be connected to heat the environment because they use too much electricity. I once had to replace the screen and the refrigerator because they broke down because they connected those appliances. Another favor is not to tighten the shower faucets too much because they get "worn out" and I've had to change them several times. The house is very well located, a 10-minute walk from the famous Sculptural Garden of Sir Edward James, (tickets are purchased only by reservation). They're closed on Tuesdays. But they open some Tuesdays when it's high season. I can help with buying tickets for a small additional cost to that already set by the Garden, or you can buy them yourself on the Garden's website. Just 100 meters away is the Los Comales Waterfall. Tickets are purchased on-site. Right next to the house there is a restaurant (closed on Saturdays). The center of the magical village is a 5-minute drive. On the terrace you can have nice barbecues. The place has a large table and chairs so you can spend a pleasant afternoon or evening enjoying your roast meat. In the living room there is a counter with souvenirs for sale. Also for sale is a book of which I am the author “Mi Vida Surrealista con Edward James” (My Surreal Life with Edward James) about my life as the goddaughter of the founder of the Sculptural Garden and daughter of Plutarco Gastélum and Marina Llamazares, collaborators and friends of Edward James. Guest access You can access the entire house and terrace with barbecue, except for the black door located in the hallway next to the house as it is my separate entrance, because I live in the back and would only pass through the terrace to access my house. Other things to note The village is located in the eastern Sierra Madre of our country. Because it is mountainous, the internet signal can weaken, but I have recently contracted a better service. The wifi now has 10MB and is therefore faster and more efficient. The network and password are in the brochure on the table. On the other hand, in Xilitla there is only a Telcel signal, cell phones with Movistar or other providers cannot be used. In the village there is only one Banorte bank and two ATMs. However, you can make use of online banking if you do not have cash on hand to make a reservation for an activity. The house has an open garage suitable for a small or medium car, it measures 4 meters and 20 centimeters long, but it is customary in the village to park the car in front of the house on the street which is safe. There are dry seasons and water is scarce in the region, but the house has a tank so that there is always water. The whole village is located on a hill, many streets have a steep slope, the house is located on a street with a slight slope, not very steep but if the climb seems very steep, you can turn around and go down the slope. Guests who bring their pet or pets (maximum 2) please let me know when booking, there is no space for one or more large dogs as you cannot leave them outside the house as the land is not fully fenced and they could escape, unless you tie them up with a long chain so that they are comfortable. You cannot use the house's bedding, blankets, and comforters for pets. You must bring your own bed and/or blankets for them. And you must be responsible for cleaning up after your pets and taking the waste away. Please note that pets are not allowed in most places or restaurants in and around the village.
