Lakeside Eco Lodge- 'Heron'

Heron ECO Lodge is a beautiful, remote lodge with a log fired hot tub and a log burner. The lodge has a beautiful view of its private lake, surrounded by woodland and nature. This is the location for you if you're seeking a peaceful, off-the-grid escape with your significant other! The space The stylishly designed space inside includes a kitchenette, seating area with a sofa and coffee table, handcrafted double bed, and a shower room. Bi-fold doors lead out on to a terrace complete with a wood fired hot tub and patio furniture, all looking directly over the most picturesque lake. Here at Heron Eco Lodge the guests can get back to nature and enjoy the remote surroundings. The lodge is supplied via solar panels, therefore guests will need to be conservative with the power they use. Guest access Guests are free to walk the surrounding area which includes beautiful footpaths and countryside all with stunning views. The lake is available for fishing at an extra cost- please contact us prior to arrival to organise this, it is a very well stocked lake with large 35lb Carp, 5 1/2lb Tench, 20lb+ Perch fish. We also have a nearby lake where we offer all things wellness; Open Water swimming, Stand up paddle boarding, yoga, sound baths, personal training sessions. All guests receive 10% off activities. Please ask for more info or visit insta at Watersedge dot club. Other things to note Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs in this cabin. Please note that as this Lodge is an off- grid and Eco property, the location is remote. Guests will need to be aware that the electricity is supplied to the lodge via solar panels and a back up generator, therefore guests can not use excessive power sources in one go as it will use up all of the electricity in the lodge and a period of time will be required for the power to regenerate. There is plenty of electricity in the lodge all year round providing guests use the lodge as an Eco property, this includes the use of the hot tub, which is a eco tub and is not connected to the electrics so there is no bubbles or lights. Please note that as this is an eco property if all of the hot water in the tank is used up you will need to locate the hot water boost switch which is to the left of the hanging rail at the bottom of the bed. Please press this and wait half an hour for it to warm up. The hot tub is wood-fired, a bag of logs, kindling, fire lighters and a fire lighting guide required for the hot tub are provided for guests. This is an adequate amount to heat the hot tub and to use on the fire pit for a one night stay. If guests require any more they can purchase extra at the guests shop. A basket of logs, kindling, fire lighters and one night brickette are provided inside the lodge for use on the log burner. If guests require more they can purchase this for £15 each.
