There is no TV and guests say that this improves their holiday. From 1 May to 30 Sept, there is a heated outdoor pool and tennis court on the estate. The space There are two rooms downstairs: a warm, well-equipped kitchen with AGA cooker and spectacular sea views and a lovely sitting room with wood burner and a mix of antiques and contemporary furniture. Upstairs there is a double room and a twin room - both with sea views - and a bathroom with a bath, a hand-held shower, loo and basin, with travertine tiled walls. Outside there is a patio with outdoor dining table and chairs a rattan sofa and armchairs - all with spectacular views out to sea. The property is on the Galloway coastal path, with the village of Garlieston and its friendly pub just 30 minutes' walk. Guest access You will have use of the whole property, including the covered store for bicycles. you are free to go for walks through the beautiful deciduous woods to the safe, sandy beach. You will also have access to a lovely tennis court with state-of-the-art artificial grass surface. Other things to note Bring your swimming costumes for sea swimming, bring your tennis rackets, bicycles, books and binoculars.
