Old School - Guest Apartment

Welcome to the extension of the old school of Detmold-Heiligenkirchen! In this former barn, which was rebuilt and renovated in 2022, there is our 27 sqm apartment on the ground floor, with a bright and airy appearance by 3.50 m ceiling height with a fitted kitchen, sofa bed, shower room, fireplace and small outdoor terrace. We have attached great importance to a loving compilation of the furniture and hope that you will feel comfortable with us. The space The guest apartment consists of a spacious living-bedroom. The high-quality sofa bed has a lying surface of 1.60 x 2.00 m. The sleeping comfort, corresponding to a good bed, is ensured by a thick topper. Bed linen and towels are always included for our guests. For a longer stay, we can also renew them. Despite its compactness, the small kitchen offers everything necessary: a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and an induction hob with 2 plates. For coffee lovers, a French press, an espresso pot, a coffee grinder and a small milk frother are available. Besides a teapot, pots, pan, dishes and other accessories are also available. Everything under the motto small but fine. The dining table with 4 chairs and two armchairs offers seating options. On the terrace you can enjoy the evening sun at a small table with 4 chairs. The highboard offers enough storage space for clothes and other things. In addition, you will find a colorful selection of reading material and entertainment here. Hangers are located at the cloakroom. In addition, we always provide at least the following basic equipment: > In the kitchen: dish towels, dishcloths and brush, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher powder, garbage bags, sugar, salt and pepper > In the bathroom: towels, toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, hand soap, disinfectant, hair dryer > In the living area: books, hiking map, table tennis racket, bluetooth speaker, tea lights, firewood Our washing room in the ground floor with a washing machine and an iron can also be used for longer stays for a small fee by arrangement. If anything is missing, we are always happy to help, whether it is a charging cable, a board game or an egg… Guest access Only our guests have access to the guest apartment including the terrace during their stay.
