Island Watch

Description

A cozy spot for adventurers to crash. This mother-in-law style apartment is below our home just 3 miles from downtown Homer. We have kids, cats, dogs, chickens, bunnies, and two horses, it’s nothing short of an actual zoo/circus around here. While your unit is private, there will be any of the above mentioned running around in the yard at any given time. We can’t promise you won’t hear occasional footsteps but we will promise to “whisper yell” at our kids to not run in the house :) The space The space feels a little like grandma’s basement complete with farm themed chicken decor. The doors are creaky and the house is supes old. But it is also really cozy and perfect for those who plan on being out and about enjoying the great state of Alaska and need a comfy warm bed to rest for the next adventure. The apartment has: One queen bed One full bed Full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee pot, toaster, oven and dishes Full bath with shower Small sitting area with gas fireplace. The entire space is about 600 sf Guest access Guest access is the first floor of the home only. The top two levels are where we live! You are welcome to the yard and outdoor seating area.
