A waterside hideaway in the heart of Denmark. Hugging the banks of Denmark’s idyllic Wilson Inlet, Emerald Cove is a tranquil country retreat curtained by leafy green karri trees. The space With the Wilson Inlet in its backyard, Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks down the way, and some of the best cool climate wineries just around the corner, Emerald Cove is fast becoming one of our favourite Denmark holiday homes. Its convenient location isn’t its only drawcard, though. Cleverly positioned on a tree-fenced parcel of land that looks out over the calm waters of the Inlet, Emerald Cove has plenty to offer those who love peace, quiet and a touch of country charm. An outdoor deck lines the entire inlet side of the home, the perfect vantage point for soaking in river and tree views and/or keeping a watchful eye on the kids as they play on the property’s long stretch of lawn. A beautiful Wisteria tree and floor-to-ceiling glass panelling frame the tranquil inlet from inside the home’s open-plan living room, a cosy space made up of two sitting areas, a fireplace, dining room and kitchen, while the beautiful scenery can also be glimpsed from the bedrooms and the ensuite too. There’s a small pond on the property, situated between the trees and the Inlet, home to ducks and rare species of frog. You may be lucky enough to hear the distinctive call of the Western Banjo otherwise known as the Pobblebonk. With all the creature comforts you look for in a home-away-from-home, a top-notch location close to the action plus one incredible view, Emerald Cove is certainly a family holiday spot worthy of calling your own. Emerald Cove can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests (8 adults and 2 children). The 5th bedroom is accessed via the verandah (no direct access from inside the house). Other things to note - Fourth bedroom (bunk), suitable for children only. - Fifth bedroom (queen), accessed via the verandah only. No internal access to this bedroom. - Property is not fenced, full access to the inlet. - There’s a small pond on the property, situated between the trees and the Inlet.
