Trail Haven Lake House

The Trail Haven Lake House is a two bedroom vacation rental completed in the summer or 2023. It is located in the heart of Northern Maine on Eagle Lake. If you enjoy outdoor sports or just want to get away, reflect and check out the beautiful scenery and wildlife, do remote work, this location has it all. There are several walking/ATV trails that can be accessed from Sly Brook Road. From approximately mid January through early April, snowmobilers have additional trail access across Eagle Lake. The space On the first floor (entry level) you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a large bar for food prepping, eating or serving. There is also a small dining table overlooking Eagle Lake. As you enter the building, on your right there is a convenient utility room with open closet space, a washer, dryer and a half bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a full bath with shower. Bedrooms have open, cubby style closets. There is also a large bureau in the master bedroom. The bunk bedroom is cozy with four bunks. The bunk room also has a small desk setup. A pull-out sofa bed is available downstairs for additional guests or for guests to just spread out. Bedding for the sofa bed is located in the cabinet under the bar. Extra bath towels and hand towels are located in the upstairs hallway cubbies, across from the bathroom. The basement level houses the central heating and air conditioning system, hot water tank, and extra supplies if needed. This space is not normally accessible to guests. However, contact Michael or Gisele if there is anything you need. Guest access Guests have access to both living floors of Trail Haven and all areas around the building. Guests also have priority access to the stone fire pit on the lawn overlooking the lake, the boat dock and beach. One side of the boat dock is reserved for guests for mooring their boat. You can also fish off the dock, usually for small salmon and trout. When fishing by boat, landlocked salmon, lake trout and brook trout are the favorite catch. Other things to note Access to the building is through a keypad lock. The access code will be provided to you ahead of check-in. There is additional parking at the road level for vehicles and sport trailers. The WiFi network and password are on the Welcome sign that hangs on the wall over the kitchen bar. WiFi speed is excellant. The supplier is Spectrum using their fiber network with speeds slightly under 500 Mbps download. Recent test show 424 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload.
