Home in Seward

Welcome! This is our main home (September-May) on the property. We have a cottage located next door that is also used for guests during the summer months. The overall feel of our home is warm, inviting, and open. The spiral staircase is the focal point of the living space and is the gateway to the loft! There are two bedrooms on the main level (1 queen bed, 2 twin beds), and 1 full bathroom. The loft has 1 queen bed and a 3/4 bathroom (tile shower). The square footage of the house is 950. The space Lar and I, along with our 5 children (Tell 11, Hazel 9, Flint 7, Iris 4, and Lando 4 months) live on site in the main house (September-May). The cottage is next door to our main home. During the 3 busy summer months (June, July, and August), we offer our main home to guests as well. We stay in a camper on site and enjoy the sounds of nature in our cozy space. The spiral staircase is one of my favorite parts about our home. The stairs are a beautiful one of a kind feature, however, the spiral staircase is not suitable for small children to climb or people who have difficulty navigating stairs. There are two bedrooms on the main level and a queen bed in the loft area. *Please use caution when ascending or descending from the loft. Guest access A 5-7 minute (about 3 miles) drive from the house will take you into Seward where all the action is. However, if you'd rather relax on the deck and sip a cup of warm coffee that's alright with us! Guests also have access to a BBQ grill. Other things to note FOR YOUR COMFORT: We provide WiFi, clean linens, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, a hair dryer as well as coffee, tea, cream and sugar. We offer Disney plus, Netflix, and Fubo TV streaming to our guests. A DVD player is also provided for guests who want to bring their own movies, or rent one locally at Safeway.   We rent out our cottage which is next door to the main home. Please be courteous to other guests and use caution when entering and exiting the driveway.
