The Cays are close to Water Cay, an attractive island getaway, plenty dive and snorkel opportunities and Utila itself, where you can enjoy day trips for example to Pumpkin Hill or an Iguana station. If you look for a fishing adventure, you can ask several of our local fishermen, they are happy to take you. The guests have access to the garden area which includes free use of the fire pit and hammocks provided. Moreover, you can use the bathtub in the garden to enjoy a relaxing bath with sea view. As this property is located on the Utila Cays, 20 minutes by boat from Utila, there are some important facts to know that are connected with your stay on this island. Furthermore, there are no banks or ATMs at the cays. You can withdraw money only on Utila. Anyways, You can change USD on the cays. Casa Colorada is based on a bridge connection Jewel and Pidgeon Cay. In order to reach the cays you do need to come by boat. Some local boat - or fishermen offer rides to Utila for a small fee. Normally, a boat leaves in the morning from the cays to Utila and returns on the same day around noon. Nevertheless, a daily commute is not guaranteed.
