Relax in the heart of Twain Harte

Welcome to our cabin which offers a peaceful and cozy place to explore nature, enjoy time with friends and family, or just take a break from everyday life. Located just a few minute walk from downtown, it provides easy access to a number of authentic local stores and restaurants along with a golf course and lake use with lake exclusive membership. The space Upon entering the home, you will be swept away by the feel of the charming cabin vibes that will instantly make it feel like home. The unique and rustic decor and furniture creates an inviting environment for relaxation, conversation, and bonding with whoever you decide to bring. The cabin has three bedrooms, all of them designed to spaciously accommodate a large group of friends and/ or family. No matter if you choose the master with its roomy king-size bed, the right upstairs room with a queen-size bed, walk-in closet, and armchair, or the left upstairs party room with a twin, a double, and a loft bed, we can personally attest to the fact that they all provide a good night’s sleep to re energize you for the next day of adventure and fun. Every room and bed has soft mattresses and plenty of blankets and pillows to cozy you up with on cold winter nights as well as cooling sheets and fans for hot summer nights. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances to prepare delicious meals, snacks, desserts, and drinks to share. Enjoy the food and the company around the spacious dining table, with the view of deer wandering about the area, or on the deck out back with fun lighting, under the cover of trees and surrounded by the sounds of birds and live music floating up from downtown. The outdoor surroundings of our cabin are made to fulfill everyone's needs during their stay. From rocking chairs on the front porch to hammocks in the backyard, there is plenty of room to sit out and just enjoy the fresh mountain air and the woodsy ambiance. In addition to the hammocks, there is a fire pit in the backyard, perfect for toasting smores or just enjoying nature under the stars while sharing stories with friends and family. You could also embrace your competitive side in the game room that is stocked with foosball, darts, and cornhole. Don’t forget about the board games and cards that are back in the living room if those are something you enjoy. The cabin’s location offers easy access to a ton of different activities for those who like to explore and go on adventures. Explore nearby hiking trails, swim or fish in the clear waters of Twain Harte or Pinecrest Lakes, or snake your way down the slopes of Dodge Ridge. They are all within a short walk, bike, or car rides’ distance, including Twain Harte Village and downtown which offers unique stores, authentic restaurants, and fun community events like concerts. At our cabin, we have worked to create a space that satisfies the needs of anyone who's looking to get away from their busy everyday life. Book with us now to guarantee a vacation filled with beauty, adventure, and rejuvenation. Guest access Guests have complete access to the cabin, game room and the outdoor entertaining areas. However, the owners closet, located in the master bedroom, is locked for safekeeping. So is the toolbox. Apart from the tools on the wall, the heavy-duty tools in the garage are off limits. Other things to note Reservations There is a minimum 3-night reservation policy for New Years Eve/Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanks Giving and Christmas. Steps and stairs There are steps leading up to the front and back doors, as well as inside the cabin. There are no ramps or wheelchair access. Parking There is a two car garage and a car can park on the driveway. There is plenty of parking on the curb except for the wintery months, when the road has to be accessible by the snowplow vehicles. If you park on the road when it snows, you will receive a ticket from the city. There are 3 shovels to use. One in the garage, one by the front door and one by the back door. AC/Heater There is central heating and AC in the house. Please turn off the thermostat when you are not in the cabin. Please make sure, that doors and windows are closed when AC or the heater is on. Excessive use will result in an extra service charge. There is also a gas stove in the living room, which can heat up the whole house. The remote control is located in the corridor near the thermostat. All the wood is for decoration purposes only. Lake access From Memorial Weekend to Labor Day guests can have access to the Twain Harte lake. (Entree is not guaranteed on Memorial Day weekend, July 4th and Labor Day weekend, since entry at those times are for lottery winners. However, there is still a chance to get admitted if you are lucky.) For you to be able to use the lake, we need a signed document agreeing to the terms of use of the lake, rules set by the Lake Association. The signed documents needs to be returned to us at reservation. If those rules are broken and/or we receive complaints of misuse of the lake, you will lose your security deposit.
