Beauty in the Burg

Welcome home! Your space is a part of my house that I built out as a mini studio, with separate entrance from the back. We’re about a 10min walk from the water, 12min drive downtown, 15min drive to pass-a-grille beach. The space is great for someone who wants to be near everything, yet be in a peaceful neighborhood. This is a home that values diversity, so all are welcome! In the main house, I'm quiet and am into cooking and fitness and plants and animals. I am happy to share a meal anytime! The space The space is a small studio(ish) apartment that I built out from an empty room in the back of my house. There's a queen size bed and table that folds up that can be used as a work space or for meals. The kitchen has a mini fridge with separate freezer, microwave, Nespresso, air fryer/toaster oven, Instant Pot, and single burner hotplate...so basic meals can be made. If you're into cooking and would like to occasionally use my full kitchen, feel free to ask and we can make it happen! I personally think the shower is the star of the show. :) Guest access You’ll have your own entrance from the back of the house. Feel free to hang out in the yard (it’s a work in progress!). Laundry is in the shed up front, as well as a bunch of fitness stuff that you’re welcome to use to get a workout in! I’ve got some chickens in the back that are usually out free ranging. Lmk if you want fresh eggs! Other things to note New addition to the family! Had a baby Dec 2025. Mentioning that because we share a couple of walls. I’ve added some acoustic paneling to my side of walls to help keep sound inside my space, and generally have him in his room when he’s crying - so I’m doing my best to minimize noise. There’s also a sound machine in the studio, and can provide earplugs if you still happen to hear stuff! He’ll be at daycare 8-5 M-F, too. Just wanted to give a heads up for the light sleepers! 🙃
