Casitas Buenos Aires is like a duplex having both upper and lower separate entrances, making it great for privacy and families. Both areas have a bathroom and a bedroom with the bottom area, a full kitchen. The house is on a large, fenced lot and is not too close to other homes in the area. Newly built for 2023 work remotely private office and outdoor bathroom, shower. You may use all of the property including office, laundry room with washer dryer, 2023 upgrade to Starlink super-fast satellite internet, flat screen smartTV with movies and blue tooth stereo. Upstairs has private entry, bedroom , California King bed with bathroom and living room with fold-out full size futon. Patio has an outdoor sink and a Palapa covering. Downstairs area - room with imported California king memory foam bed, a nice living room with new couch, full kitchen, Smart 55' TV w/ 250 movies or sign into Netflicks. Both areas have desks and 1 working laser printer and We also have air conditioning in both bedrooms and living rooms. Private office has double monitors, green screen , air conditiioning. Please consider the information below: Mexico has tier pricing for electricity. If we go over one month’s maximum amount, we ALL would be LOCKED IN to pay a higher tier at 4 times the monthly rate for a year! So you can understand why we montitor power consumption. Tips for saving power: Use the ceiling fans instead of air conditioning during cool or warm days. For hot days, enjoy air conditioning, but turn it off with any lights when you leave the room or Casa. Cooler months, we won't use the air at all because of the breeze we get through the windows or ceiling fans. We have a couple of power saving LED security lights. You may leave those on for the night which should automatically turn off in the morning. 2023 update: Even another year of thoughtful guests in conserving energy and keeping running and rental cost down. Great job! Your comfort is our highest priority when staying here. But we can all do our part in helping the environment and keeping rental costs down. You have access to areas upstairs and downstairs, office and entire fenced in area for safe parking. Upper area of property on the outside of fence for temporary parking and easy access to vehicles. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, vacuum sealer, slow cooker, rice cooker, utensils, spices and other cooking basics. Basil and Cilantro grow outside around coconut trees. The laundry room with small emergency generator is accessible downstairs near the kitchen area. There’s a work desk both upstairs and downstairs. I also have an acoustic guitar upstairs for those who would like to attempt to play a tune or two. If you need any assistance or help in anyway just call our wonderful hosts Richard and Alicia. They live about 2 minutes down the road and know a lot about the area and can give you tips on getting around , good places for dinner , car rental etc. They also respect your privacy so you can enjoy a wonderful peaceful vacation in this beautiful area. Most homes in the area have been recently built. The neighbors reflect a clean , quiet, and Eco responsible environment. Buenos Aires is located between two wide Arroyos ( sand river washes). Travel up the Arroyos with your ATV or 4x4 to discover water falls (up arroyo south of the Casa ) and natural pools and boulders with huge winding tree roots growing around them. You will love the hill behind the house for a morning walk and a spectacular view. There is a small Market less than a 1/2 mile from the home but the charming town of Los Barriles is just another 1/2 mile hidden around the corner where you can find everything you will need including Restaurants , Organic health foods , Groceries and Local activities. 2022 UPDATE: Internet speeds are up and allow plenty of bandwidth for online TV or communication. Cell phone coverage seems to be working better also lately with most carriers. You can rent a vehicle near the airport, or ATV , bicycle (one older mountain bike included in laundry room) here in town. ATV's (4 wheel Quads) are really handy because they allow you to ride legally into town or just ride to the beach. Walking distance down from the Casita is Hotel Pecadores. Down there, you will find a dipping pool and a nice outdoor bar. Discover some great beaches and a few resorts with outdoor Jacuzzis , Nachos , and Corona's waiting for your arrival. Don't forget your bathing suit so you can jump in the ocean for a dip. If you need a ride to or from the airport, rent a car , taxi, or ECOBAJATOURS offers online tickets to or from the airport for under 20 bucks each way. Mini bus station drop-off is right across from the Los Barriles water fountain on the main road. Tickets go fast, so book in advance online. Make sure units are only used while you are in the room. Turn off the air conditioner along with lights or fans when leaving house or room. Our biggest concern is your comfort and well-being.
