Relax and recharge in this comfortable, well equipped home - and work remotely in comfort. Enjoy fast, reliable wifi (rare in this area!) and an in-unit reverse osmosis (RO) water dispenser (also a treat here) in the full kitchen. Other features include a comfortable queen size bed, 100% cotton sheets and towels, well-equipped kitchen (including French press coffee maker), and desk. Explore photos/captions and the additional description for full details, and do feel free to ask questions! Cosy House: One bedroom is part of a duplex with a private residence on the other side of a shared wall - all tucked into a serene Patagonia neighborhood. The main room includes living and dining areas, with a galley kitchen and bedroom adjoining. Please note: there is a shallow step down into the bedroom from the main room. The bathroom is through the bedroom, and the bedroom includes a desk area. Cosy House is allergy-friendly; we don’t allow pets, scented candles/plugins/incense/etc, or smoking/vaping on the property. While we can't guarantee an allergen-free environment, we do our best to provide a safe and comfortable environment for folks with pet allergies and scent sensitivities. We’ve chosen refillable Attitude brand cleaning and bath products for that reason, and use eco-friendly and low scent laundry detergent. Please don’t hesitate to be in touch with any questions about how we might be able to meet more specific needs. If you’ve spent time in Patagonia, you’ll really appreciate our excellent wifi and reverse osmosis (RO) filtered water! We’ve invested in a Starlink mesh node for each unit to ensure the best possible connectivity. While Patagonia’s tap water is perfectly safe to drink, it’s ‘hard’ and does weird things to tea - so we prefer the taste of filtered water. Each unit has its own RO-filtered water spigot at the kitchen sink. We are committed to comfortable beds - with no “taco” effect! The queen-size bed is exceptionally comfortable, with a 12” foam Ashley mattress. It's made with a medium-weight duvet and comfortable Serta Dream101 pillows. Foam contour pillows and extra blankets are in the closets. Our goal in outfitting our kitchens is to provide the things you’ll need without the clutter of the things you don’t. (Feel free to ask about specifics.) There is an AC/heat wall unit in the bedroom and an electric fireplace heater in the main room. A fan and an additional heater are located in the bedroom closets for additional climate control options. Each Cosy House offers a library of books to explore, and a puzzle or two - and perhaps a game! The large covered and enclosed (but not gated) patio boasts two comfortable circle/basket chairs and ample space for bike parking. If you travel with a service animal, please note that the one bedroom house does not include an area suitable for service animal bathroom breaks. There’s more to Cosy House! In addition to the one-bedroom unit, we also offer a two-bedroom unit and a studio - all in close proximity, great for groups of up to eight people. The one-bedroom unit with spacious enclosed patio is all yours, of course, and is in the middle of the long leg of the ‘L’ of the three Cosy House units. You’ll pass by a private residence to reach your enclosed patio. When you see the two turquoise circle chairs, you’ll know you’re in the right place! The walkway beyond your patio is a shared space in the sense that we or other guests may occasionally pass by, but the furniture inside the patio is just for you. We’re in town off and on throughout the year, so feel free to say hi if you see me around! Otherwise, please don’t hesitate to message me through Airbnb with questions throughout your stay. The three Cosy House units are tucked into a serene Patagonia neighborhood. Parking is easy and free on the street; there are three pull-in spots for regular-sized vehicles on Duquesne Avenue. If you need a second spot or your vehicle is too long for out front, street parking along Santa Rita Avenue is usually available. You’ll be within walking distance of basically everything in town; for example, Go*gle maps estimates four minutes to walk to the Patagonia Lumber Company bar and 16 minutes to the Paton Center for Hummingbirds. If you’re here with a bicycle, you’re welcome to park it in the enclosed patio - but please don’t bring it inside the home. You may wish to bring a lock to secure bikes to the post near the patio entrance. A hose is available on the property for bike washing; please be in touch for details. And if you'd like to ship your bike to Patagonia ahead of your visit, we would love to help if we can!
