Relax and unwind at this peaceful retreat. Here you can spend time floating the river from Gills Landing in Lebanon to the campsite; bring your fishing pole and try your luck at catch and release fishing in the pond; take a cool swim in the river. If you like hiking, Silver Falls State Park is just a short 35-minute drive. Of course, you can just sit and enjoy the soothing flow of the river. The cabin sleeps only 2 people, but there's room to bring your camper or tent for extra accommodations. The space This 192 sq. ft. cabin is very basic. There is no shower, but there is a portable toilet with a wash station located outside. We do provide a full 5-gallon water cooler for drinking since there is no running water. For cooking there is a 24" Blackstone 2-burner griddle, and small propane cans are provided. Also, the cabin is furnished with a small supply of pots and pans. There is a battery that provides lighting, and phone charging is available in the cabin. During the cooler months, there is a small wood stove for heating, and firewood is provided. The cabin sleeps 2, but there is room for a camper and/or tents. This campsite is meant to be very simple, so you should plan on bringing whatever you may need/want for camping. We are located in a rural area surrounded by farms. You may hear farm equipment as we are a working farm. Also, an occasional rooster crowing can be heard throughout the day. Fresh chicken eggs are available by request for $3 per dozen. There is a lot of wildlife, including deer, eagles, and ducks and herons at the pond. If you would like to try your luck at fishing, we do offer catch and release fishing in the pond. Bring your poles and equipment. Other things to note During the summer the cabin is easily accessed. Once the rainy season starts, 4WD is recommended. Otherwise, you may need to park on the gravel driveway and walk the short distance to the cabin.
