You will stay in a special monument: the former medical service of the ENKA, built on top of an old atomic shelter – how unique is that? Within a few minutes, you are in the middle of nature, such as in National Park De Hoge Veluwe. Prefer to go into the city? Arnhem, Ede and Utrecht are quickly and easily accessible. The space Welcome to your stylish studio! The living room is spacious and decorated in a light, Scandinavian style: sleek, modern and yet cozy. You have your own kitchen with everything you need to cook: pans, cutlery and kitchen utensils. In addition, there is a dining table and a cozy sitting area with TV – perfect to relax after a long day. In the studio, you will find 2 comfortable double beds with premium mattresses. The bedding is already waiting for you. Please note: the beds are located on a loft, where you cannot stand upright. The bathroom is private and has a shower, toilet and vanity. Extra nice: you have your own washing machine, dryer and free Wi-Fi. Special building, bustling environment You will stay in a unique piece of history: the former medical service of ENKA. A monumental building with character, and underground even an old atomic shelter that has now been transformed into an exciting VR Escape room. Don’t feel like cooking? In the same building, you will find De Proefzaak Ede. Here, you can enjoy artisanal specialty beers and comfort food with local products. Convenient: parking is free in the area. As soon as you step outside, you will find yourself on the ENKA site – a mix of industrial heritage and modern architecture. Centrally located, everything within reach From your studio, you can walk into the woods in five minutes. Ede-Wageningen Station is also nearby: you can be in Arnhem in 10 minutes and in Utrecht in 25 minutes. Great for a city trip or a day of shopping. Downtown Ede is just 2 minutes away by train. Here you will find cozy terraces, nice shops, a cinema, theater and swimming pool. Everything for a complete stay! Must-do's during your stay Arts & Culture: Visit the Kröller-Müller Museum (16 km) with masterpieces by Van Gogh and modern art. Or discover Palace Het Loo (36 km) – a beautiful palace with extensive gardens. Nature & Adventure: Explore the Ginkelse Heide (7 km), Planken Wambuis (10 km) or the Wekeromse Zand (9 km). On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to check out by 11 a.m. so that we can prepare the accommodation for the next guests. Rest & Respect To ensure a good night's sleep for everyone, we ask that you keep the noise level down between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. A calm and relaxed atmosphere is important to all of us. Visitors For your safety and that of other guests, only registered guests are allowed to enter the accommodation. We ask that you not invite visitors without prior permission from us. Drug policy The use of drugs is strictly prohibited in and around the property. Smoking Our accommodation is equipped with smoke detectors. To keep the space pleasant for everyone, smoking indoors is not allowed. In case of violation, we will charge a fine of €250. Parties & Events Our accommodation is a place to relax, not to party. Large groups or events are not allowed. In the event of nuisance or complaints, we are forced to take measures.
