Private cottage with yard minutes to Magnolia

Charming backyard cottage set in the historic Sanger-Heights neighborhood just 7 minutes from Magnolia by car and blocks from Downtown. Off-street parking and a private entrance to your own fenced yard. A pathway leads to a private patio with an outdoor seating area. The cottage includes a Queen sized bed, TV with Netflix, bathroom, bathtub and shower. It is located on our property adjacent to our home, and we are available as much or as little as you desire. Welcome to the Artist's Cottage! The space This newly renovated cottage is situated in a peaceful, backyard setting. Though it is quite small, only bedroom and bathroom, it's a cozy place to relax and call home base for your stay! It opens onto a tiled patio surrounded by a privacy fence that separates it from the backyard of the main house. Inside, the bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, desk and chair, cozy chair, and a mini fridge. The television includes access to Netflix via Roku (note: there is no channel/cable access, you are welcome to log in to any of your personal subscription services). A brand new heating and cooling unit can be controlled via remote to your specifications. The full bathroom is spacious with a dresser and small closet including a pull-out hang bar and hangers. You'll find it stocked with towels, washcloths, and a hair dryer. We have recently (2024) upgraded furnishings in the cottage and are always improving upon the property. Guest access The property has two driveways, one on each side of the house. The cottage's driveway is the one on the right. Once you park, you'll open the wooden gate the driveway leads to and follow the paver path to the patio. The door of the cottage opens from the patio via keypad. The cottage's yard is fenced off from ours, though a small gate leads between them. We keep this latched so that our dogs don't wander in. Other things to note We have a small elderly dog who you may observe snuffling around in our yard. He occasionally barks but is very friendly. We do have young children who love to play outside, so expect to hear kids from our yard and the neighborhood during your stay. The keypad lock on the door will automatically lock every time it's closed, so be sure to flip the bolt on the inside or make sure you have your code before shutting it.
