The Farmhouse, a Beach Cabin in Encinitas

Welcome to Farmhouse Leucadia, a cabin inspired oasis by the beach! This home is just a short 3 minute drive (10min bike ride or 25min walk) to Beacons, Ponto, Stonesteps or Moonlight surf spots. The cozy wood clad living room boasts tall ceilings and a welcoming fireplace. The galley kitchen is well lit by morning light with its 15' long skylight. Outdoor patio in the front to enjoy the ocean breezes, and a 6 person dining table in the fully fenced in backyard. RNTL-035626-2025 The space The home is a single story ranch style house. The Master has a king sized bed with a full bath and sliding glass doors to the backyard, small seating area and an outdoor shower. The second has a queen size bed with vaulted wood ceilings, two spacious closets, a large desk and original wood shutters. Both bedrooms have TV's. There is a room off of the kitchen before you get to the master that also has a single daybed with dresser and closet sectioned off by a partition. The living room has a brick wood burning fireplace. Tall wood ceilings and large original windows. A small wooden writing desk and a cushion lounger allow additional spaces for working or reading. The dining room has a dining table that seats 4 The galley kitchen has large skylights above, gas stove/oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. It is also where the washer/dryer are located. RNTL-035626-2025 There is a long term vacation rental in the garage called The Hideaway. They get the parking spot all the way to the right (South). The garage is not attached, it shares no walls, and the outdoor spaces/amenity spaces are not shared and face away from each other. Unless you run into each other in the driveway you won't even know they're there. Guest access This property is accessed by keypad. Other things to note Our home is near the I-5, great for getting around to all that San Diego has to offer, bad for noise. Please keep this in mind as this isn't ideal for those looking for total peace and quiet. Heat: The heater in our home is a floor heater in the common space which does not reach the Master bedroom. For the Master we provide a space heater which does heat the room quickly.. Air: We have a standing A/C in the living room and portable fans for the bedrooms for the warmer months (August-Sept). Most of the year they are not necessary. There is another small rental unit on the property though there are no shared spaces other than the driveway. Your space will be fully private.
