Birch Room-Private & Quiet,Ideal for travel worker

The Birch Room is one of two rental units available at The Mink Building in Iola, WI. The Birch Room is designed to provide a restful retreat and is ideal for third-shift contract workers, as it is very quiet. Walk to restaurants, coffee shops and a wellness studio across the street. The room includes a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator and coffee bar. The building amenities available to guests include: a full-size kitchen, racquetball court/yoga studio, laundry and lounge. The space Elements of nature and art are present throughout the Birch room and the Mink building. The Birch Room is designed with many little luxuries. A restful retreat, the Birch room has a Tempur-pedic mattress with luxury pillowtops and all cotton sheets. In the Birch Room, a fully-loaded coffee bar comes equipped with a Keurig coffee machine (with coffee pods) and a mini-fridge has complimentary beverages. A smart tv can be used to stream your subscription services using the Mink building wifi. The Mink building has been newly renovated and provides lots of amenities for our guests. A Soundbath, created from remodeling a sauna, is clad with aromatic cedar and a Bose surround sound system. Enjoy deeply relaxing sessions, listening to nature-based music or crystal bowl sounds. An indoor court, located on the lower level of the Mink building, can be used for yoga and to play raquetball, wallyball and pickleball. A lounge features an island seating area perfect for breakfast, lunch or supper. An Alexa echo sound system can be used to play music, a podcast or listen to the news or weather. The lounge area also has a sofa, chairs and a coffee table for relaxing and is a great place to gather and relax. Guest access The Birch Room is one of two available rental units (each with their own private bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette) located in the Mink commercial building. Shared spaces in the Mink that are accessible to Guests include: the kitchen (which has a refrigerator, pizza oven, and hot plate), a laundry room (with a washer and dryer), lounge, pickleball/racquetball/yoga court, and soundbath. Other things to note In the Neighborhood: The Birch Room in the Mink is located on Main Street in Iola (across from Lake Iola). It is within walking distance of several restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, within walking distance is a park on the lake, an outdoor walking path along the creek and the Millstone gelato shop, Iola Coffee Co, Little Wolf Art Gallery, and the Crystal Cafe. Several Ice Age Trail segments are within a half hour drive from the Mink and include: New Hope, Iola Ski Hill, Skunk and Foster Lake, Waupaca River, Hartman Creek, Emmons Creek. Parking is available (free) on Main Street and in the back of the Mink building. Access to the Mink building is through our Main Street and back Alley entrances.
