The unit also includes a full bathroom with shower and tub, kitchen with two burner stove and counter top oven (toaster oven), dining table and 4 chairs, three smart TVs, separate work space with desk and chair, and wifi, complete with luxury bedding and bath towels. Enjoy the outdoors on the unit’s deck with a table and two chairs, or on the property’s shared bluestone patio. On the patio you will find a firepit with 6 rocking chairs, two individual tables, as well as an outdoor couch and loveseat. Ample free parking is available, located right outside your front door. Our property can accommodate several cars and trucks/trailers. During the months of November & December we have a Christmas store where we sell trees, handmade wreaths, and holiday decor, located on the same property as this house. The store is located in a barn about 250 yards from the house & adds to the spirit of the season. The house is always decorated to the 9’s during this time of year especially. This unit holds 4 people max. There is a $15 additional charge per person after 2 person occupancy. During the winter months we recommend you bring slippers. You are welcome to contact me anytime! Honesdale is a charming town that is bursting with history from the unique style homes to the birthplace of the American Railroad. This property even has part of the original D&H Canal on it. You will be within a short drive (5 minutes or less) to downtown Honesdale, where you will find shops, breweries, boutiques, restaurants, bakery, coffee shops, antique shops and more. You are located within the part of town with lots of conveniences such as grocery store (Weis markets), rite aid, Dunkin Donuts, liquor store, Wal Mart, Home depot, Mcdonalds, and more all located across the street from this home. You are a short drive to Lake Wallenpaupack, the town of Hawley, where you could rent a boat, or take a tour ride. In the town of Hawley you could also pick up the rail trail (a petaling bike on the rail tracks), which is a highlight in our area! Ride the Stourbridge Line in downtown Honesdale, the birthplace of the American Railroad. There are museums (Dorflinger Glass, and the Honesdale Historical society), as well as art exhibits and festival days. Horseback riding and guided bike tours are also available. Also nearby, Bethel Woods, Center for the Arts. During the summer months you can find live music on Monday and Thursday nights in the park in Honesdale. The area is also home to not one but two amphitheaters, Harmony in the Woods, as well as Wildflower music festival. Both beautiful venues with great performers. Also nearby: Local hospital with 24/7 Emergency, Lake Wallenpaupack, Several camps, Elk Mountain, Prompton State Park, Irving Cliff (great view of town), and much more. Ample and free parking is available located directly outside your front door.
