This listing includes: 2 luxury suites each with their own bathrooms; a kitchenett; and a library. This is the whole second floor of our home but very private. We're on the edge of an old homestead, close to town as well as the mountains. Great breakfasts come with your stay as well as fresh homemade cookies! In our cabin room sleep comfortably on a Posturepedic pillow-top king-sized bed, relax on a sectional couch that folds out to a queen-sized bed to accommodate extra guests, store your belongings in the large walk-in closet, and enjoy an extra large walk-in shower with grab bars. The room also includes a 40" flat screen with cable TV, WiFi, stunning mountain views from each window, and a mini fridge for personal food items. Enjoy beautiful mountain views from the comfort of a Beautyrest pillow-top queen-sized bed in our cozy Cottage Room. Hardwood floors lead into a luxury bathroom where you can relax in our deep claw foot tub with mountain views out of the window or enjoy the extra large shower with grab bars. You'll love the photography and artwork depicting our valley as well as the 40 inch flat screen cable TV, WiFi, and overall homey, cottage feel. Both rooms have secure keyless entry locks which are a snap to use. We provide a common kitchenette with coffee maker, microwave, small full-sized refrigerator/freezer and toaster oven on the same floor as the rooms. If you have something you'd like to cook in one of our double ovens on the main floor, feel free! There is also a cozy library/sitting room for your relaxation right next to the kitchenette. Barry and Lila will nearly always be here to greet you and sit down with you at breakfast for a visit. We love to let you in on the greatness of our area if you so desire. But once in awhile we might have to go fishing. Not to worry. Lila has lots of family nearby to pick up the slack. Once here we are just 4 miles from the closest store but just half a mile away is a nice convenience store and gas station. We are 4 miles from Palmer and 11 miles from Wasilla. Our home sits on ten acres of an old homestead and was part of Lila's families' dairy farm. Wander by the creek that meanders through the property and enjoy the beautiful gardens and flowers around the grounds. You are also welcome to enjoy our fire pit area.
