Casa de las Palmas, the "Casa"
Not an event space. No parties or weddings. Perched right above the zocalo, this colonial hacienda has stunning views of the beautiful Santa Prisca cathedral. Historic Casa de las Palmas has the old world charm you will love when you visit the famous silver mining town of Taxco. This is the main house or "Casa." The Casa is large, separate building and has it's own living room, dining room and veranda. It also features a large bathroom with bathtub and shower. Guests here will have access to the main kitchen. Cable TV provided. Access to side and rooftop patios attached to the Casa. A light breakfast is included and can be enjoyed in the shared central garden area or on your private patio. Oscar and Silvia are our on-site hosts. They will be available to you as you need them. They can guide you through the amenities and spaces here at Casa de las Palmas. Casa de las Palmas is located right in the heart of the City of Taxco. The zocalo or town square is just a minute's walk down from our property. So we are very close to shopping, restaurants, the stunning Catedral Santa Prisca and many other points of interest in Taxco. Taxis are very cheap and everything is so close that walking is convenient and fun. We also have an on-site manager who can drive you site-seeing for a fee. A complimentary continental-style breakfast is included. Coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, Mexican sweet rolls, toast and yogurt, etc. If you want hot foods, eggs or meat for breakfast, that is available for a fee. Just ask!
