Stunning views!

This Airbnb is located within the rural village of Rushton Spencer with stunning countryside views. It’s proximity to Rudyard Lake, the Roaches and Tittesworth Reservoir make it an ideal place for cyclists, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. Although the Airbnb is part of our family home, it is a separate downstairs apartment with its own entrance. There is space for a car on our driveway. There are 2 local pubs a short walk away. Congleton, Macclesfield and Leek are all short drives away. The space The apartment is self contained and consists of a large bedroom with a king size bed, open wardrobe and desk workstation/vanity area . The adjoining lounge area is separated by a door and has 2 small fold out beds (1 double and 1 single). These are more suitable for children/teenagers to use rather than adults (additional charges per child apply). This room has a large wall mounted television, mini fridge and a Blu-ray player. The separate shower room is compact and has a toilet, shower and sink. Although it is a self contained apartment there are no cooking facilities or meal preparation areas. We obviously do not mind people eating in the property and we provide some plates and cutlery however, please be aware that the carpeting and furnishings are all light/cream colours which can stain very easily. We would not recommend this apartment for preparing meals in and is better suited for guests who wish to eat off site at local restaurants or pubs. Due to the light coloured carpeting we also would appreciate if guests would use the large floored tiled area and racks for shoe storage to prevent damage to the carpet during the visit. We have recently had fibre optic Wi-Fi installed for guests to use during their stay. Tea and coffee facilities are available. The shower, sink and toilet are operated by a macerator system. Please do not flush anything down the toilet other than natural human waste, as items such as sanitary towels, wet wipes etc will block and damage the water system. There are small plastic bags provided in the shower room in a wall dispenser and a bin if required. Although the village is relatively quiet, the property is next to a road. This road can get busy at peak times however, this does not detreat from the lovely views and it is usually quiet outside of peak times. There is also no pavement next to the road so we advice that guest take care if walking down to the village. No pets. No smoking please. Guest access Guests can access the entire downstairs apartment area. The property has recently been renovated to a high spec. Unfortunately there is no access to garden areas and we recommend that guests park their vehicle to the left side of the driveway, so that guests can come and go as they please with plenty of space. Other things to note We have recently installed an external electric car charging pod. Guests are welcome to use this however this must be arranged in advance and a price agreed. Although the village is relatively quiet, the property is next to a road. This road can get busy at peak times however, this does not detract from the lovely views and it is usually quiet outside of peak times. There are 2 pubs a short walk away however, please be aware that there is no pavement at points so the walk is on a road. As highlighted previously, the road can be busy at peak times so please take care. Usually, the road is relatively quiet in the evenings.
