Moorea Fare Ôio Beach Cottage

Like the Ôio, a seabird that nests in the trees by the sea, settle into our little "beach-cottage" style nest with views of the lagoon and the Papetoai pass. The space Our small "tropical chalet" located by the sea, rustic and very open, offers a typical Tahitian experience, in relation to its Fenua. TO AVOID ANY MISUNDERSTANDING, PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION AS WELL AS THE "ARRIVAL GUIDE" SECTION: Very open (deck and parquet floor, no air conditioning) and naturally ventilated by the sea winds, you can see and hear the sea from the kitchen, observe the 'Oio (sea birds) nesting in the surrounding coconut trees, and enjoy the majestic Mount Rotui from the shore. Small insects, crabs and lizards are also part of the decor, but no worries, they are harmless. The Fare is equipped with: - A double bed, - A mosquito net, - A fan, - A private bathroom, - A terrace area serving as a dining room and kitchen. Occupancy is 2 people. * IMPORTANT: Our very open accommodation is not suitable for infants, people prone to air allergies (pollen) and people with a fear of animals. * ANIMALS and INSECTS: Our accommodation is by the sea and very open. You may encounter ants, lizards (gecko), crabs and other small insects. All are harmless but can enter the Fare in search of food. Roosters, dogs and other small animals are also very common in Polynesia. Please do not feed them. * INFO: Located at the end of the road from our family property, the accommodation shares the beach, pontoon and large garden with residents and passing visitors. * WASHING MACHINE: A washing machine is available to all guests free of charge. Detergent is not systematically provided. * INTERNET and ELECTRICITY: Internet access is limited to 100 GB, but unlimited from midnight to 6:00 a.m. (recharge possible from 200 XPF, contact us). Electricity in Polynesia is 220 Volts and electrical outlets are type C (European). * CLEANING In order to preserve the cleanliness of our accommodation, we reserve the right to charge a REFRESH service (cleaning + replacement of sheets and towels once a week) for long stays and if necessary. Bath towels, bed linen and hygiene products are provided. * SUPPLEMENTS This house will be stocked with a set of starting consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to bring or purchase supplements after check-in at one of the village stores or from us (see our rates in the check-in guide). * HOUSE RULES MANUAL: We ask you to please take a few minutes upon arrival to read our house rules. It also contains useful information about the surrounding area. * OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Please note that late check-out requests must be received no later than 24 hours before your departure. Early check-in and late check-out are based on the availability of our cleaning team and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. * NUISANCES: We do not have any pets on the property. Our neighbors' cats and dogs can cause noise. Guest access The accommodation is located by the sea in a "family village" secured by an electric gate. A grocery store is next to the property and is within walking distance. Other things to note Parking can accommodate a small sedan.
