The Babanees - Bummer Hill's Boho Chic Surf Casa

The Babanees is a quaint, boho surfer style home located in the heart of Puntas, Rincon. With over 20 windows inside, it makes for a beautiful airy space. Situated on the top of "Bummer Hill" the home has sweeping ocean views from almost every room. I have been working at hard rehabbing and the designing the space myself. This is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath, full equipped private home rental. Monthly prices are non-negotiable, what is quoted on Airbnb is the price. No pets & 30 day max bookings The space Welcome to The Babanees, a three-bedroom one-bath private house located in the heart of Puntas, Rincon. I took on the undertaking of rehabbing and redesigning the interior to reflect a boho surfer chic style. It’s a great space that holds a certain novelty that only a place like Rincon, PR could possess. The house has all brand new appliances. New stove, refrigerator, bath remodel, furniture, 50' screen TV with streaming capabilities, high-speed internet, and brand new inverter A/C. There are plenty of ocean views, light, and ventilation from the abundance of windows in the home. I have a reverse osmosis filter in the kitchen to ensure you are getting the cleanest and safest water The house has great wifi for working remotely. However, we do experience outages that are out of our control. If you rely on wifi to work, please bring a hotspot as a backup I have a 300-gallon backup gravity water cistern. Please keep in mind that the water does frequently go out in Puntas. House is equipped with an 1800 Watt Duracell Gas-less Lithium Battery Pack that is a generator. I do not have a whole house generator. The power pack is meant to keep a few lamps, a fan, and the refrigerator running when the power is out. Will sustain these items for around 12 hours. It is available to ensure that food does not spoil and you are not stuck in the dark. It is a safe, short-term option. There is a studio apartment attached to the lower back half of the house. It may be rented and can be rented separately if you need more space for the party. My goal is to keep making this home unique and fun. It's perfect for a couple, young family, or solo travelers who want a clean and cozy space to lay their heads while they explore the awesomeness of Rincon! There is an attached studio apartment at the back of the property. The cleaning fee is non-negotiable. A private cleaning service is used to ensure that house standards are met for all guests. Please do not ask to clean the house yourself. Come be my guest at The Babanees! It has separate access to the back of the house. Both locations are separate, secure, and private. They are separate units, that do not share anything. NO PETS! Additionally, I have also had guests rescue dogs off the street, causing me undue stress during the reservation. Many of the rescues in Puerto Rico are strapped, meaning they will most likely not be able to help you, if you decide to take in a stray. They will tell you the responsibility is on YOU to vet the animal and get it off the island. I have rescued animals and fostered them in MY OWN home in PR & NY, but never would I rescue an animal in an Airbnb or a home that is not mine. Since I am about to become a new mother, I won't be able to foster for a while and don't need to be stressed out that you may not be able to truly give this animal the help it needs, or worse, have to put it back on the street before your vacation ends. Think about the consequences and/or contact a rescue before you help out a stray animal in Puerto Rico. I can offer up community resources to reach out to, but that's it. If you bring an animal, it must be a service dog and I will request documentation, along with a doctor's note that says your animal is a certified service animal- just like the Airlines do. There is a lovely, disabled family who lives behind our property. They are deaf. They have a dog that spends lots of time outside and has a dog house, additional shade, water, and food provided to him. This family loves the dog, and it belongs to their son. However, people from the states sometimes do not understand why the dog is kept outside. I have had guests harass the family and me about the dog. I will no longer tolerate neighbors who trespass into my neighbor's yard to try and get near the dog. The neighbors have cameras on their property. If you are caught trespassing on camera, we will notify the authorities, and it will be posted to your Airbnb review. ***If you think you will be bothered by a dog who spends lots of time outside in a dog house, please do not book my home.***
