Welcome to a character-filled home just 38 minutes from Waterton Lakes National Park. Located in Cardston, this space has a cozy, lived-in feel with a private sunroom that’s great for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. With room to sleep 6, it’s ideal for weekend getaways, road trips, or a simple change of scenery. Whether you spend the day hiking in Waterton or exploring the local area, a great spot to slow down, get outside, and enjoy the quieter side of southern Alberta. The space This private basement suite offers a clean, comfortable stay with unique style and plenty of room to unwind. It includes three bedrooms, a full bathroom, a cozy living room, and a bright sunroom that’s perfect for slow mornings or relaxed evenings. While there’s no full kitchen, you’ll have a microwave, mini fridge, and a Keurig with coffee, tea, and bottled water provided for convenience. You’ll have full, private use of the basement suite during your stay. Please note: the hosts live on the main floor, so you may hear occasional footsteps or activity from above. Guest access Guests have full, private access to the entire basement suite, including the sunroom, living room, three bedrooms, and bathroom. The entrance is separate from the main floor and located at the side/back of the house. You’ll also have access to free parking in front of the house during your stay. While we live upstairs, your space is entirely private, and we do our best to give you space, while remaining available if you need anything. Other things to note We have a friendly tabby cat named Frito who lives upstairs with us. He’s not allowed in the suite, but you may spot him around the yard or near the entrance. If you’re highly sensitive to cats, this might not be the best fit, just in case of any indirect exposure. Frito loves to say hello, so feel free to give him a little head scratch if you’d like! We’ll do our best to keep him inside during check-in and check-out, but let us know if he tries to sneak past—he’s curious like that.
