Stay in a cozy and well equipped cabin with private hot tub at Minni Borgir Cabins in South Iceland. The cabin comfortably sleeps up to nine guests and features warm underfloor heating, a practical layout, and great conditions for Northern Lights viewing in winter. Families and groups appreciate the comfort, space, and easy access to nearby attractions. An on site restaurant and a children’s playground are located just steps away. The space The cabin is 69 sqm (740 sq ft) over two levels and comfortably accommodates up to nine guests. The lower level includes: • A bright living and dining area • A fully equipped kitchen • One bedroom with a queen size bed • A second bedroom with a queen size bed and a bunk bed • One bathroom The upper mezzanine level includes: • Two single beds Please note that the mezzanine is accessed via stairs. The cabin has underfloor heating throughout, making it warm and cozy year round. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals and includes a four plate stove with oven, medium size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, dishes, and glassware. For longer stays or group travel, the cabin includes a washer and dryer. All bed linen, towels, and face towels are provided. Requests for additional linen or towels must be made at least two days prior to arrival. Outside, enjoy a private patio with seating, propane BBQ, and a hot tub, which many guests highlight as a favorite part of their stay. The hot tub features simple digital controls, making it easy to use for all guests. Guest access The entire cabin and its immediate surroundings are yours during your stay. Guests also have access to the shared outdoor playground, located nearby and suitable for children. Other things to note After booking, you will receive a confirmation message with important information regarding your stay. Online check in is completed before arrival. Access details and entry information are sent on the morning of your arrival. In accordance with Icelandic regulations, we are required to collect the full name, date of birth, passport number, country of issue, and country of residence for all guests. Personal data is collected solely to meet legal requirements, handled securely, and processed in accordance with GDPR regulations. The cabin is part of a cottage village. While this provides convenience and nearby amenities, some light from neighboring cabins may be present, which can affect Northern Lights visibility depending on conditions. A car is recommended, as the nearest larger shopping center is approximately 20 km away.
