As avid adventurers, my husband Jordan and I have poured our hearts and souls into creating this loft-style escape alongside our incredible community of workers from the Ruhondo area, we are so grateful to have partnered with our neighbours. From hiking the volcanoes, Gorilla trekking to kayaking on the tranquil Lake Ruhondo, this is the ultimate destination for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike. Our house manager Ahimas, will be available to answer any questions you may have before or during your stay. We'll have staff available as you arrive at the boating pier and the house. *** This home has been a labour of love & it is newly built, there are a few things that we are yet to finish for example the garden/landscaping. PRACTICAL DETAILS: - Free parking for you as you reach Lake Ruhondo. - The property is only accessible by a stunning 10 minute boat ride. -A (steep) staircase leads you to the top of the hill and into The Writer's Patch. - The property is wrapped with beautiful glass windows & doors, please draw the insect screen to keep any little friends outside. - Solar powered, let water run until it's hot. - Nearby restaurant (Ruhondo Beach Resort) if you don't want to cook, food MUST be consumed at the restaurant. - We pay for the parking security, the boat ride to TWP and back to the boating pier. Any additional boat rides will be covered by you. - Canoe and fire pit available during your stay.
