Nestled in the Chestnut Village of Viola Castello, at an altitude of 850 m, Lo Scau is the result of the recently completed renovation of an ancient chestnut dryer, preserving the charm of the stones with which it is built, welcoming guests in a rustic, simple and authentic environment in contact with nature. It is a unique place to experience the tranquility of nature firsthand, away from the noise of the city and stress. It is a perfect place for couples but also for your furry friends. Cost: €20 per day in June/July/August without ignition €40 per day when wood ignition is requested (the request must be made in advance as it takes about 4 hours of preparation) Guest access The house is independent and is at guests' complete disposal as well as the lawn that surrounds the house. The last stretch of road to reach Lo Scau is unpaved and uneven, so we ask you to leave your car 100 meters from the house where there is a private and guarded parking lot available free of charge. In the winter months, during snowfall, the chalet can be reached with snowshoes (which will be provided free of charge to guests). Winter heating is provided by wood with a Norwegian Jøtul stove and, in support, electric radiators. Upon arrival, you will be asked to take a photo of the documents of all travel participants in accordance with Italian law.
