The space La Casa dell'Arte is located on the raised ground floor of an elegant building from the early 1900s with bright white and lemon yellow colors. Right in front of the building, clearly visible from the windows of the house, stands Castello Bruzzo, while looking south you can see the Lanterna di Genova, the majestic symbol of the city, which stands on the port. Inside the apartment you will find paintings by famous artists, antique prints and tapestries, classic chandeliers and teardrop lampshades, stuccoed ceilings and one-of-a-kind Genoese marble aggregate floors. Available in the studio is a large library that offers classic texts, fiction and wonderful illustrated books on the Ligurian Riviera, on the hinterland, but above all on Genoa the Superba: its glorious history of great Maritime Republic, its wonders and secrets, and finally its caruggi, the intricate labyrinth of fascinating alleys that make up the largest ancient historic center in Europe. You will also find a complete collection of classical music to listen to while sitting comfortably on the sofa. Alternatively, you can connect your phone to the stereo via Bluetooth to listen to your favorite music. For the little ones and more, children's books of various ages and board games to spend some time having fun. Inside the property, right next to the apartment, is free private parking for the exclusive use of guests, which can accommodate up to two cars. The driveway entrance gate is 254 cm wide. For the more romantic (and for smokers), a small garden accessible from the terrace with a ladder is ready to offer unique moments of intimacy and relaxation, perhaps toasting with a good wine by candlelight on summer evenings, in a typically Genoese green corner. The apartment offers fiber optic Wi-Fi. Since July 2023, there has been an air conditioning system that cools the entire house with three splits. There are two bedrooms with double beds, a living room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen, a bathroom with a large shower and window, a study with a sofa, bookcase, stereo, and a desk where you can study or work in smart working. For the safety of our guests, there is an emergency light in the entrance, a fire extinguisher, methane/carbon monoxide detectors, a smoke detector, a fire blanket and a First Aid kit. Guest access All information on how to access the apartment and free private parking independently will be provided by the host Riccardo the day before check-in via message and photos, which will be sent on the booking platform chat. With this message, guests will also be asked to provide an indicative time slot for arrival (e.g. 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm). Upon arrival, guests can use the entire apartment, free private parking (up to two cars), and the small garden without any limitations. In the entrance of the house, there is a large white service closet that is locked and cannot be used. Other things to note Access to the apartment is usually by 10 p.m. In exceptional cases, it can also take place at night (after 10 p.m.) but by prior arrangement with the host and with the utmost caution so as not to disturb the building's residents. Instant booking can be made no later than 8:00 pm on the day of check-in. After this time, you can still make a reservation request that must be accepted by the host to become effective. In order to make check-in faster upon arrival, guests will be sent a reminder with instructions on how to access a simple procedure for entering their data and documents on the Vikey platform, created specifically with Security and Privacy criteria, in order to comply with the requirements of Italian Law. This procedure must be completed by the check-in date. Smokers can smoke on the terrace leading to the private parking or in the small garden, smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. The driveway entrance gate is 254 cm wide. The narrowest point inside the parking lot is marked by a warning sign and is 92 inches (235 cm) wide. It is advisable to maneuver with caution and to enter in reverse, and then exit more easily. There are two security webcams. The first is outside the apartment entrance door, for possible check-in support and real-time guest verification. The second is an outdoor webcam that points to the private parking gate.
