There are over 10 acres to play (snowshoe, cross country ski, sledding, hiking or just relaxing) and only 20 mins. to awesome skiing or riding at Jay Peak! Two bedrooms across two floors. Relax in the deep claw-footed tub in the large full bathroom. Fully outfitted kitchen: coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, gas stove with oven. Grill on deck. Washer & dryer. Wifi for remote working. The Orchard House is a spacious, open concept and outfitted in stylish mid-century modern furniture. There is one bedroom on the main level with a tempurpedic queen bed. The lower level is a large open space with two couches, work space, and a king bed. There is a deck off of the dining room which is the perfect spot for after dinner drinks and watching the sun go down. Relax in the summer by the outdoor fire pit. The house is equipped with WiFi (25/3 mbps suitable for remote working and video conferencing). The kitchen is equipped with all basic cooking tools, as well as coffee, and some condiments and spices. There are plenty of linens and towels as well. Kids toys, books, highchair, and pack & play. There is guidebook at the house filled with local information. Catamount trail cross-country ski trail, VASA and VAST trails adjacent to property. 15 miles to Jay Peak, 20 miles to the City of Newport and 15 miles to Canadian border. The whole house and yard is accessible to guests. There is a driveway that can fit multiple cars. Self check-in by lock box. Upon booking I will send all of the necessary information for checking in and out of the property. I have tried to think of everything you will need to have an amazing stay, but if you need anything we live nearby and are available by phone/text or email. Serene rural mountain region with closeby skiing, hiking, fishing, swimming, mountain biking opportunities. Close to Jay Peak Resort, Newport and its restaurants as well as Lake Memphremagog and Canada. Car needed to reach our cabin unless you are on Long Trail hiking trip. Paved road passes by our driveway. Cell service can be spotty while traveling to the house.
