Mini sound system, covered patio with its own braai & wood-fired heated tub. We are situated on a active working farm Guest access Guests have full use of the cottage they booked. You are welcome to go for a walk, but please stay on the farm roads and avoid entering the orchards under any circumstances. Other things to note NO NOISE AND PRIVACY • We ask that you please respect the peace and quiet that we provide to all of our guests, with minimal to no noise. Kindly keep noise levels respectful, especially after 20:00. This means being mindful of loud TV/music, parties, and other activities that might disturb neighbours. Let's all be mindful of noise levels to create a peaceful environment for everyone. • The right of admission is reserved only to guests that have booked and are staying at the cottages. • Please respect others by remaining modestly dressed in swimming costumes when using your hot tub. FARM ROADS AND DRIVING ON THE FARM: Please adhere to a speed limit of 10-20 km/h on farm roads. These roads are also used for farm activities, so please drive with caution and consideration. Excessive speed can produce dust, which can degrade the quality of our fruit. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a peaceful and productive farm environment. The farm roads are accessible with a regular vehicle; a 4x4 vehicle is not necessary. However, it is not recommended to use sports cars or vehicles with very low ground clearance in this environment. WORKING FRUIT FARM: Bergsicht Country Cottages is situated on a functioning fruit farm. We farm intensively 365 days of the year. Expect machinery, vehicles, and workers to be active from early (6am) to late (10pm). Tractors, machinery, and workers may be noisy. Please be mindful of farm activities, including construction, worker movement, vehicle traffic, and machinery operations. To ensure timely completion of tasks, the farm may operate during nighttime and early morning hours. Due to weather conditions and crop requirements, essential spraying activities may occasionally occur during the day and after dark. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and strive to keep disruptions to a minimum. Please note that the spray tractor may generate noise. Crop spraying is an ongoing practice throughout the year, vital for protecting our crops. Depending on crop needs, various pesticides or insecticides may be applied at different times. While we understand your concerns, please be assured that all applications comply with safety regulations.
